While many choruses and arts organizations had to pull back during the lockdown, we pushed ahead despite the challenges, because we know how important it is to sing beautiful and profound music in times of crisis. Music, which connects us at the higher level of humanity as a single immortal species.

The Schiller Institute Chorus is continuing its rehearsals primarily online via Zoom, and we welcome and encourage newcomers to join. This is the 250th Beethoven Year, and we will continue working through the Beethoven Missa Solemnis, Opus 123, as well as shorter classical works, along with continued work on the African-American Spirituals.
