It will consist of programs of Beethoven, Schiller, Brahms and the art of the Negro Spiritual as the unique American genre of classical music as developed in the 1890s through the collaboration of Harry T. Burleigh with Antonin Dvorak at Jeannette Thurber's National Conservatory of Music in New York City.
