The Schiller Institute NYC Chorus was back in the historic Little Italy district in the Bronx on September 15, 2024, to present the 9/11 Memorial Concert:
Tragedy & Hope- Restoring the Classical Tradition in America.
The inspiring commemoration of the tragedy of September 11, 2001, Tragedy & Hope, took place at Our Lady of Mt Carmel RC Church, and was addressed by FDNY Chaplain Msgr. Jamie Gigantiello with the FDNY Ceremonial Unit Color Guard. Spring Concert 2024
Schiller Institute NYC Chorus presented its Spring 2024 Concert on April 12th at Good Shepherd Faith Church, 152 W 66th St.: Gioachino Rossini Petite Messe Solonnelle.
The concert was dedicated in memoriam to Renée Sigerson, founding member of the Schiller Institute and wife of Schiller Institute Music Director, John Sigerson.

The Schiller Institute NYC Chorus participated in the Humanity for Peace day of action on Sunday, August 6, 2023, which began with a spirited rally at Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza near the United Nations, and concluded with a magnificent concert featuring Mozart’s Requiem conducted by Maestro Gürer Aykal, and a selection of classical arias and Negro Spirituals.
