Eugene Thamon Simpson, Dr. of Music, biographer of Hall Johnson, dies at 89

Eugene Thamon Simpson was a master musician, choral director, composer and arranger of Spirituals, and biographer of Hall Johnson. He was a personal friend and advisor of the Schiller Institute NYC Chorus and its founder, Diane Sare.
