Schiller Chorus Summer Music Party

A program of solos and ensembles by members & friends of the chorus, followed by reception.  

Program to include Mozart's Queen of the Night aria, "Allelujah" from Mozart's Exultate Jubilate, Johannes Brahms's Liebeslieder Waltzes -(with two pianos and a quartet of singers), Schumann's duett “In Der Nacht” and "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot". The Schiller Inst. NYC Chorus will perform two African-American Spirituals: Soon Ah Will Be Done by William Dawson and Jester Hairston's Poor Man Lazrus.

To be followed by a reception.

Freewill donation. $20, $50, $100 suggested.
